Well thought out item. Tracking is excellent.Pairs well with the Asiair Plus. Very lightweight and sturdy. Careful with heavy optical tubes. Tends have it's centre of gravity offset which could cause the whole rig to fall over. Advise adding weight to the included tripod sling for safety in addition to adding a counterweight..

ZWO AM5

I’m running a 127mm carbon fibre refractor (about 14 LBS) on the AM5 with no counterweight and I’m getting excellent guiding. The TC40 tripod feet are bouncy so I’ll be replacing them. This is a fantastic mount.

AM5ZING!!

Bought the AM5 along with all the other ZWO bits to replace a 2007 Celestron Advanced GT mount. The whole setup is amazing and capturing great images in bortle 9 skies is very satisfying. ZWO camera, EAF and guiding is seamless with the ASIAir+
